Fandred
hieverytime i start FNV with Project Nevada i get the "hud extensions not detected" error message. i tried troubleshooting with extra options (before it gave me "extra options not detected" error message and crashed) and i installed uHUD but the mod manager doesn't detect it. i guess it's because i installed it manually instead with fomod manager. how do i install fomod properly? my second guess is that the loading order isn't working: thanks
SMB92
So I gather your using New Vegas Error Corrections Complete plugin for the weapon wheel, you've probably installed it over PN, as it has it's own xml file. You need Unified HUD - get it here: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/38961 Install it with FOMM not NMM and select your options. BTW your load order looks stuffed up. Try search and dl the BOSS tool to auto sort your mods.
Fandred
tried uninstalling and installing FNV and project nevada. did as described, it's still not working...same error message. marked project nevada and project nevada extra options in uHud. edit: Edited March 5, 2013 by Fandred
NegativeX
I have the same problem and none of the above suggestions work... until I used BOSS to re-org my MODs. Edited June 2, 2013 by NegativeX
pintocat
You have a missing mesh for a PN-added item (that screenshot) in additon to it not finding its hud stuff. You clearly don't have PN installed properly.
luthienanarion
Unified HUD's magic is in the installer script, so you can't install it manually. Run the installer after each time you add or remove a mod that changes the HUD in any way.
BadHeartSnake
Not being able to install the HUD manually is my problem too. I get the message that PN isn't working due to the HUD. I'm on a Macbook, with the FOMOD working, just can't install the Unified HUD project correctly. I'm lost. HALP, halp me plz.
Lonesurvivalist314
Im having issues with the hud extensions... uhhh I installed it through uhhh nexus so yeah. I can get a fomm screenshot maybe if someone asks. So far it will only work if I have no mods on. Even mods that worked just fine with it before.... dubiousintent
Take a look at the "HUD-UI-Menu Issues" wiki article. XML file mod interactions can get complicated, primarily because they often overwrite the same files. -Dubious-
