ktree
Does anyone know if BOSS reorganizes all your mods for you, or are you supposed to do that when it shows you the best load order? thanks
ripple
BOSS will rearrange the load order position of mods it 'recognizes' (for which either the mod users or the authors have submitted information for, and which has been investigated and confirmed by the BOSS team). For the plugins it does not 'recognize', they will show up on a separate page of the BOSS log, and will be placed at the bottom of the load order. Those plugins will need to have their load order positions arranged manually.
starfire42
For unrecognized plugins, you can a userlist that tells BOSS where in the load order they should go. I've had good luck with the BOSS Userlist Manager that makes creating lists for unrecognized plugins a piece of cake, especially since it includes a list of categories to help you decide where in the order a plugin should go. Do I need to do anything extra, or like BOSS, will it automatically change the order in BOSS?
starfire42
Well, if you actually saved the rules as a userlist (it doesn't do this automatically, you have to click "save rule") and you configured the masterlist path properly then it will put it right where BOSS expects it. At least, that's how it worked for me. I'm pretty sure I was following some sort of step-by-step tutorial, but I can't recall if that was from BUM itself, or a video I found somewhere. If you're not sure, look in your BOSS/skyrim folder for a userlist.txt file. That's the one BOSS is going to use. If it's what you set, great. If it's not, you might need to check your settings for BUM (make sure the paths are corrent).
