gunnr1978
i was thinking of a full skyrim npc economics. Were every npc contributes to the economic. But because this would be a very big overhaul i would start out small. For example. Lets take Riverwood. Fishermen "bob" lives in Riverwood, got his own house and walks every day to the river to fish, Bob catched 6 fishes. At the end of the day he walks to the vendor "Steve". Now Steve buys 4 fishes from Bob, for 4 gold, bob buys 2 drinks for 2 gold. They talk a bit and then bob goes home to his wife. Bob has now 2 gold, 2 fish, 2 drinks. He and his wife eat and drink and bob goes fishing the next day again, netting again 2 fish, 2 drinks and 2 gold a day. Now Steve has his own shop in Riverwood, monk "cornelis" sells him mead, hunter "Lea" fur and lumber "jack" sells him wood. every other npc needs something of vendor steve (who flips the price for 2x he buys). now fish is worth 1 gold for steve, sells for 2 goldwood is worth 1 gold for steve, sells for 2 goldmead is worth 2 gold for steve, sells for 4 goldfur is worth 4 gold for steve, sells for 8 gold for the gold sink for the 4 workers, they just buy more mead or food in the weekend (just to make it not to complicated for now)For now the gold sink for Vendor steve is you as player ( the stuff u sell to him), in the future he could go to the city and buy expensive jewelery or has to buy skooma for his addiction. This should make the circle round. If this, above, is possible, u could build from here on. Now here comes the hard part, what if fishermen bob dies? no more fish so the price of fish should go up and should effect the people in the circle of steve. My question to you all, is it possible to solve this in a good way? (make the inn alcoholic a fisher when the price hits 2 gold a fish?) i would like to see some input from you guys if there is a good way to solve this problem. Because if there is a simple good solution, this could be used on a big scale and the player could interact in this economie. In the end having all NPC's doing work, selling there work and buying stuff. This could open a chance for the player to interact in certain ways to influence the economie, through extorsion (let them pay for protection:D), really helping out workers by killing a bear who's fishing also, killing the fisher men and driving the price up and selling fish your self. Or if its really big and worked out, kill all farmers and food related npc's and let every one in skyrim die of hunger:D No i really would like some input on this idea and im looking for ppl who know how to program, write scripts, design and know how economics work. Because i really want to know if its even possible to make something like this. Note: English is not my first language, so please forgive me for my english:D Greetings Gunnr
