Lets talk about DLCS

So Yeah when I bought New vegas I got all the DLCS with it I happened to play Old world blues first which everyone could probably agree was the best. I was there for a couple of days and felt like a new world. Since I played it first the stealth training in old world blues made ALOT more sense because the next one I did was dead money which people gave bad reviews but I felt it was like being put into a saw movie so I enjoyed it plus I had the stealth training. Honest hearts to me was just bleh and with lonesome road I feel like I missed ALOT because I entered there and next thing I know im fighting the other courier and Ive still got no idea why so overall Loved Dead money and Old world blues hated the other two.

Honest Hearts kind of a waste of money. I'm glad I bought it because I love playing the DLC's and continuing the Fallout story but it was really short. Although I loved the environment of it, it just wasn't long enough for me.

My list is

Lonesome Road

Dead Money

Old world blues

Honest Heard

The burned man is an amazing idea but didn't get enough room, the dlc seems to have a little lack of ideas or tension.

LR just is a worthy ending, conecting loose ends and so on. Best antagonist and very dense atmosphere. Love it.

Yep, it's hard. But this not necessarily is a bad thing imo. You have to save a lot and you probably die quite often. That's what I did. The holograms can be tricky and the radios sometimes are very hard to spot. One must concentrate and sometimes maybe even die trying. Sometimes I didn't find a radio or hologram switch and just threw a grenade fairly into that direction. This worked out quite well.

Haha never thought of that. Then again, I think the only weapon I had was the bear trap fist. I managed to beat it in the end but was pretty disappointed when I didn't get the Elder's gun

Yeah I didn't really understand lonesome road and I beat it so fast that I totally missed the whole point of the thing which disappoints me because I did want to understand it. But dead money had so much thought behind it like the hologram ghost or the zombie like people that get back up plus its little casino that was awesome and I was there for a couple of days but honest hearts and lonesome road I wasn't taken by the story and even if i was It wouldn't Id be already done with it be

  • 2 weeks later...

I dont get what was so bad about Zeta... was it just that it was out of place in the world? Or.. your character was out of place in the Mothership...? I will admit I played a mothership/alien add on for F:NV and I thought it was a bit much, having too many aliens and too many alien blasters/weapons.
