Broken Levelld Lists.

i'm encoutnering an issue in which these are broken. all NPC's that work off of them are naked, and all respawning containers are stucka s empty. I don't ge tit. here's my laod order

When did the problem start to occur ?

Have you added any new mods recently that may have caused this?

you have quite the list of mods how long have you had them all, and have they all been working together?

you using windows xp? or windows vista?

 

if you don't know when it happened, then your going to have to test the game by disabling mods and try to figure out where things went wrong through trial and error. and with that list it looks like it will be a task :-(

OK I found somthign. but it on ly serves to ocnfuse me even more. .I can't figure this. i disabled ALL my mods and laoded a cleen save but this is still presisting!

 

It sounds like, at least with the container anyway, like maybe the base value of a container item was changed and it effected all of the container of that type... I could be wrong, still pretty new at this myself.

 

I recommend if you aren't using obmm that you get it and use it atleast for the load order and then try following dez's load order manual ill post it here.

 

General Load-Order Guidelines

Here are the guidelines that I adhere to, personally.

 

~ Unofficial Oblivon Patch should always be first on the list. The fixes are great, but most aren't essential, so if a mod overwrites them its not a big deal, and the fixes have the potential for screwing up other mods if loaded later.

 

~ Offical Content (DLC's) should be loaded last, until you complete all quests associated with them (that includes buying all furniture for the houses and whatnot). Once they're complete, they can be safely moved up in the list. This is especially important for Knights of the Nine, which will have some fairly major problems unless loaded last (unless you get the UOP for KotN)

 

~ Major overhaul mods (OOO, Frans, MMM) should be loaded near the end. That gives you the most complete experience with any of those particular mods. It also lets you carefully choose which other mods to load afterwards... only move mods that you know will conflict and that you want the changes from. For example, I have Improved Soul Gems below OOO because I know that OOO changes the icons of some of the SG's, and ISG needs to be below to show through.

 

Some people will recommend putting larger mods first, but personally I disagree. There are a number of mods out there that make minor tweaks, and loading after a large mod will end up completely overwriting a chunk from one of the bigger mods because of the way conflicts work in Oblivion (even one minor change will take precedence over the entire record... for example, simply tweaking the speed of a weapon can cause every stat of that weapon to be retained to vanilla levels if loaded later).

 

So basically, it stacks up like this...

And a special-case warning for Knights.esp (Knights of the Nine) -- you may not be able to move it earlier than some other mods (some people have had problems after moving it before OOO, for example).

 

That's basically the structure I use and I have 140+ mods working well together.

If this doesn't work... you can do what I do when my game starts to mess up and i cant find the issues uninstall everything and start anew :-) I normally delete all my save games also though not sure if you want to do that, its just i have a problem when I uninstall everything and then go to play with original saves they are all corrupt and cause the game to crash...

 

But thats my fix... you might want to wait and get someone else advice :-)

 

Have you done any editing yourself with the cs? maybe messed with a script you shouldnt have or tried to use an existing container without first making a new form from it?
