Eiade
Hey. I made an interior cell. Tada. I made most of it yesterday, and then finished it off today. But when I look at it in game, it's as if I never made any modifications today. It only gives me what it looked like yesterday. Like I said, grr... Any comments or advice would be appreciated. (by the way I just noticed something. look at all the topics in the TES construction set forum. now look at all the topic descriptions. grr, lost it, what is the name of, i dont understand, help, wtf?, how, for no reason, maybe its cause i'm new, sounds dumb but i honestly don't know, need help cause i'm an idiot... lol. TESCS is the most confusing aspect of morrowind apparently. on top of that, very few can explain its complexities: look at the number of replies...) Einvarr
If you haven't already tried it , you need to associate your new cell (saved as "cellname.esm") with your game on load . when you click the morrowind icon, click DATA , then you'll noticemorrowind master data or some such thing .. checkedyou should see your new cell .. with an empty check box next to it .. just check it :) if you've already done this .. then I don't know what's going on .lets see .. if you made it yesterday and finshed the changes another day .. when you opened the file .. you had to select morrowind main data , and then yourcell.esm in the construction set , now .. the second time you load a file that you make you have to make sure you have it highlighted and click "set active file" button .. so that the changes are saved to your cell .. the cell isn't part of the master data , so when you save it even if you work on your cell it won't appear to have changed, because you're saving your cell changes to the master .. hope it helps :) -varr
