New to modding, need a quick hand!

Hey guys! I've just started with modding and I need a quick hand with something (whether or not it will be quick, I don't know to be honest!)

So, I have a quest. The quest is to kill a man. However, I can't seem to:

 

1) Get a map marker to said man.

2) Get the quest to progress on man's death.

 

I *believe* I've set up the alias correctly (using a unique actor alias), set them as the target of the objective, but it doesn't seem to want to give me a map marker. The quest progresses fine, but yeah, no map marker to them.

 

Since I know where I've put them, I've killed them but the quest doesn't progress, and I'm not sure what the correct way of setting this up is.

 

I suspect there's something wrong with the alias, so I'll post it in here. Any help would be appreciated!
