deliverance6 Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 allrighty, ive got the latest Niftools version. but when i go to use the "NifProps" utility to export a collision mesh for my model, max crashes on export. can get objects without collision working ingame. and weapons etc are fine. its just exporting static collision crashes the pluginand 3dsmax (v9) http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/8651/workingnocollai0.jpg**object pictured above is exported without collision and works perfectall ingame, problems are purely with the exporter crashing max. so really, any advice would be greatly appreciated** Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Baelkin Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 I'm having the same problem in Max 9, though I think it's an issue with the implementation of the Nif plugin itself and not how you do it (provided you follow the tutorials for adding collision boxes). You could always try opening the file in Blender and using that as your .Nif export platform and see if that works, though it's more of a band-aid solition to the problem.
