thebigba Posted January 5, 2009 Author Share Posted January 5, 2009 Well, not making much progress on the dragon so far but i think they may have a lot to do with the dragon i was using for lyndsai even I could could not fly on the one with the unaltered script... I don't think that will get her flying but... Is there anyway to fool her dragon into thinking that she is the player? or fooling it into thinking that when I am mounted on my dragon that I am also mounted and in control of it? while she is still mounted on it of course? I am thinking about using the iskeypressed function in a statement to make sure when I press my caps lock key to run that her dragon automatically starts flapping its wings like mine does.. tell me what you think? thebigba Posted January 6, 2009 Author Share Posted January 6, 2009 I'll tell you what i think,,, I had no idea what i was getting myself into...I can't even have two flying dragons out at the same time let alone have my companion flying on one with me... If i have two of them out at the same time one flies and the other wont do more than hover over the ground.... i tried it our with all of them... so, I have absolutely no idea where to begin with this now... I just installed all the major overhaul mods so I am going to enjoy life with lyndai riding horses instead for a while. still open to any suggestions on how to make it possible though . I tried many ways altering the flight scripts... I used the iskeypressed function, to try and make the drake get into to fly mode when my other drake didand all managed to do was mess up the idle animation of the dragon flapping its wings lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All the dragons seem to use different objects, so it seems weird that ones of different colours (and thus different scripts) can't work together... Thats why i don't know where to begin :-( I used mismatched dragon created all new forms for dragons used only his dragons but only one dragon can fly at a time ... I already did :-) Waiting on a reply.I wrote him one time before but he told me he nolonger mods for oblivion , but i had asked him about making a mod... this time is just for advice maybe , he will find time to help :-) I hope. There is one thing I been thinking about... Is the flightquestscript I am not sure exactly how it is applied... I see in the quests that there is a quest setup for it with a script but... thebigba Posted January 7, 2009 Author Share Posted January 7, 2009 Well, I been looking at the quest flight script and I cant see any thing else with it... I am not altogether sure how it is called upon though. I mean, it is set up as a quest a different quest for each type of dragon, with the script all the same except the names of the dragons... I modified mine a little just removinf the if statements referring to if the dragon is wandering and what not but the flight plane should still be moving to the dragon, and also to lyndai :-) I tried giving her her own flight plane. nothing is working... Unless I get some advice from the creator of the script or from someone else who is good with writing flight scripts then I am stuck here at the moment.
