Lumpa Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Hi everyone. I've been playing around with the GECK, making my own little mini mods just for my own enjoyment. Lately I've been messing around with the perks in the game, and I had an idea for a perk but I'm not sure how to implement it. What I'd like to do is, create a second lockpicking perk. As you know, the size of the "wedge" the bobbypin has to occupy for the lock to open is determined by the difficulty of the lock. So of course with Very Hard locks, the wedge is very small. So, I was thinking of making a perk that doubles or triples the size of the "wedge". Or, if that's impossible, maybe doubling the chance to open a lock on a force attempt, which would give you 100% force attempt chances on Easy locks, and high probabilities on average lock, with a skill of 100. But I think the wedge size is a game setting, so i don't know if you can alter a game setting in a perk. Any thoughts would be appreciated. On a sorta side note, I'd like to do a similiar one for Hacking, maybe reducing duds significantly. These would both be lvl 14 pr 16 perks.
