Okay, so FCOM 1.0 is easier to install with just 9 steps. But just in case I'm that paranoid...

If I back up these folders:

data

mopy

oblivion mod manager

oblivion mods

...and I still mess up, then simply replacing those folders would be equal to having never tried to install FCOM at all, correct?

Really? The reason I mention mopy and the other folders is because bain and obmm might remember the FCOM mods I installed and still think they are installed even after I restore the data folder. But I'll take your advice and... commence installation of FCOM 1.0! Thank you very much.

i was deeply apprehensive about installing FCOM, but after following the instructions scrupulously, it all worked out pretty darn well! that, and Wrye Bash. BOSS and bashed patching are your best friends! :O
