JimmyDean2
Well I am relativly new to mdding so here it gos... I am adding new textures to a full stock ak47 model I have and I wanted to add some hi-def textures. So I found some nice wood textures online and edited the exziting textures using the software GIMP2 seemed rather straight forward. Then I re-convetrted the textures back into .dds format and dropted them back in the fallout3 directory. Everything looks great on the ak47 apart from the woodstock..it's now blue..So I kept messing with it and can't figure out why it would be blue at all. :wallbash: So I came here for help and or ideas..got any?
deliverance6
random blue textures?! thats a new one on me... all i can suggest is maybe deleting you're alpha channel and remaking it (the alpha channel) and having a play around with the Normal map (*_n.dds)
JimmyDean2
So I went and downloaded a normal map plug-in for GIMP2 and created a normal map through that. I converted it to .dds format and named it accordingly. Placed it back in the fallout 3 directory and I am still geting a blue stock on my ak47. Do I need to adjust the normal mapping on GIMP or something? It is just the stock too. It's weird.
joefoxx082
is it bright blue or blue shining through the wood texture?
