I have the beard mod and it takes up an amulet slot. this will also take up an amulet spot. anyone know how to fix this, i tried the unlimited amulet mod but no go.! I'm working on the other answer because it's a PIA and will take some time, but this one is easy, you just equip it to the TAIL slot. No unlimited amulets etc does not work because that just makes nothing show, as far as I know. If you need to have this on a companion there's a mod that lets you cast a spell on your companion which makes them equip the tail item. It is not here on Nexus though, as far as I know. And please give more info on what exactly you did, because first of all, you edited the gnd model and that won't equip. So I need to know exactly what you did. I know Pale Rider's hats equip to the tail slot, because 1, he's one of our best modders ever, and he wrote right in his Readme: ---------------------------------------------------------------All hats can be bought from Palonirya in the Divine Elegance. Each hat is availible in two different versions: one uses the amulet slot, the other one uses the tail slot; that means you will not loose your hairstyle whilst wearing a hat. I'm still planning to continue this, but I'll also bump it up in case someone else wants a shot. I have some questions, though, I think it's the way 3DS max converts the mesh, it may need a conversion tool for use in Oblivion. I don't know, but your hat's "guts" don't look anything like Pale Rider's. That's odd because I use Blender quite often (nearly every day I have time to -- so if you see me online in a forum, chances are strong I've got a blender window open, or have had recently, or will shortly.) It doesn't strip away all that stuff, unless I actually take it off, like with old meshes that need to have their collision stripped off. Unless you stripped off the collision to get it into 3DSMax? I'm still very curious which exact mesh of pale rider's you started with. Anyway it's not that big a deal now, I'm sure I can make a version nearly exact to yours, but I'd like to make the crowning crimp rounder, yours turned out a bit boxy. I've been working on a cuirass that's been giving me trouble, but now I've finally figured out how to make her behave, and I will work on yours as soon as I either get finished or fed up again with the cuirass.
