Aleqious
So, objects in exterior cells are refusing to load at all. I first noticed this while checking out Whiterun for some empty land and noticing that all the land was pretty much... empty. Well, there were some buildings standing, such as the Honningbrew Meadery and some farm north from it, but I noticed that when I zoomed in on them they just disappeared.I thought this could be related to an issue with my .esp, so I closed the Creation Kit, re-launched, and loaded only Skyrim.esm. Same issue. Interestingly, all the objects within the walls of Whiterun's city were unharmed — just everything outside of it was performing strange magic tricks. Then I wondered if this issue was restricted to Whiterun, so I checked out Windhelm and I had pretty much the same issue. Not exactly sure what I'm supposed to do. Vactrol
Creation Kit, go in "menu" select "preference", when the preference window is open, select the tab "Render Window".Two sliders: the first is time of day and is duplicate of the main CK window. The second slider "View Settings - Clipping Distance" : near or far. Slide it full right - on far, then refresh the render window by clicking on it and pressing "F5". This should function Cheers

Once I selected the "Render Window" tab I saw that it was already set to far, so I just set it to "near," applied the settings, then set it back to "far." Issue still persists. Vactrol
It's not a common issue.... Let the slider on "far". It's useful to set it on "near" when you load a grid cell of 9 or more, by default the grid is 5 ("misc" tab) Depending on your PC specs, the render window can take a long time to load all the references: it begin with an emtpy land and trees/objects pop-up one after the other until all refs. are loaded. If you begin to work BEFORE all refs are loaded, some issues can happen. I have this problem sometime on my custom worldspace.Have you waited enough without touching the render window? Hanaisse
It entirely depends on what Worldspace you're looking at. If you're in WhiterunWorld worldspace, that is the city proper and only for everything inside the walls. Anything outside the walls is only there for LOD purposes. If you want to see the cells outside the walls of each city you need to be in Tamriel worldspace (and look for cells named whiterunexterior, for example).
