Still need help with mods

okay ive looked for help but i still cant get the mods working

 

Fallout is the first game ive tried to get a mod for so i dont know very much(if any)

 

Do i need to download somthing before my mod?

 

the mod im trying to get right now is the Enclave Commander 0.6

Just put the esp file into your Fallout3/Data folder and enable it through either FOMM or the Fallout launcher. It doesn't mention it in the read me but you'll probably need to set bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 to bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 in your FALLOUT.ini which is found in MyDocuments/MyGames/Fallout3/

Hello, I am also having issues getting this mod to work and this is nowhere near the first mod I've installed. I have edited the .ini file appropriately and (as with all mods) ticked the checkbox in the DataFiles menu. I load the game and the items that are supposed to be in my inventory...aren't... Console commands don't work either. On a side note, I'm having the same issue with the lightsaber mod.

Ha! I feel like a n00b for not thinking of this before... I just downloaded the FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) and selected the datafiles through it and now the mods work just fine. Try this tool and see if it helps :)
