All Armor mods crash game

Any and all armor mods I use crash my game as soon as I mouse over the armors in question. it is not a load order. I have the steam goty version with windows seven. custom weapons work fine.

the general reason about instant CTD problem is, well, there are two things, which I can think of right now.

First, there seems to be (a/an) missing file(s), which is because of the wrong installation.

Second, the other problems happen if there are several dirty files, which have records that are already altered in another files, in your mod list.
To find clearly, try to use BOSS(Better Oblivion Sorting Software).
You can find it here : https://code.google.com/p/better-oblivion-sorting-software/downloads/list
put it in the "/Fallout 3/Data/" folder and run the "BOSS GUI.exe". Tick "Display file CRCs" and click "Run BOSS" button and it will automatically arrange your load order and find the mod conflict.

In my opinion, I think there are some missing files in the data folder, but im not so sure. try to use BOSS. if there is nothing wrong with your esp or esm files, then there are missing files.

Boss says there is nothing wrong. there are no missing files. any other suggestions? I have double checked all folders. I have all the meshes, textures, etc. in the right folders. Could it be a windows 7 thing?
