Mattcarrisosa
I want to apply this patch https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46065 to just the automatron version of bostonfps, how would I go about this? Removing the edits to nuka world and far harbor and the reliance of the masters?

Undernier
If, by dependencies you mean the masters, you need to look under "File Header" and you should find them listed there. But be sure that you've removed everything from those masters before removing them.
markusm1000
But be sure that you've removed everything from those masters before removing them.In the newer versions of f4edit, you cannot remove the master while it is still referenced. Mattcarrisosa
So I deleted every edit to the dlcs (besides automatron) in xedit, how do would I go about removing the dependencies now?
DieFeM
In xEdit, right click on the plugin that you want to clean, then click on "Apply Script..." and select the script named "Report Masters" and click OK, then select the masters that you want to remove and click OK, it will show a list of records, in the messages tab of the right panel, that exist in the plugin which are referencing the masters that you selected. You'll need to remove all records listed there, or delete the references to forms from the masters (for example it could list an NPC that you created, but this NPC contains a keyword from another master, you would need to remove such keyword from the NPC), then save the plugin and exit xEdit.Load the plugin again, right click on the plugin and click on "Clean Masters", that will remove any masters that don't have any referencing records. VIitS
Just one thing to add to what DieFeM said: If Clean Masters still doesn't remove the mastere file when Report Masters says there are no records from it, you should run "Check for errors" on the plugin as well. If there is a broken reference (i.e. error: could not be resolved) pointing at the master, Clean Masters won't remove the master but Report Masters won't report it either. You have to fix/remove those broken references before Clean Masters will work.
