My findings:

1. Character apperance block starts with "TPP" ends with "RŠbody"

2. If value is diffrent (u pasting 3 bits in place of 4), add some nulls with space or dot

3. Some parts are easy to replace - like nose, mouth, ears etc. I have success with all of them

4. In this data block there're every changes made to your char body, every new cyberpart visible so copy-paste wont work

5. The amount of bits need to be the same after changes thus you need to fill or cut some of the bits to make it work

6. I suppose you can remove a tattoo by replacing its code with nulls or creating save with no tats and coping values from there

Soft: Reading Notepad++, Editing HxD

//EDIT
Will try to change hair color, gonna update of the result.

Could you please to a tutorial or something on how to change my characters jaw to the 01 option, downloaded HxD, but I'm new to this and can't figure this out myself.

//EDIT

Figured out myself thanks to your findings, much appreciated

Is there is a way to change skin color as well?

Changing colors of skin and hairs is not that easy, nails maybe.

Tried hairs yesterday, findings:

1. Save loaded up, game runs ok

2. Problems - char went bald. Taking off a piece of clothing (pants, shirt etc.) doesn't affect your char (took off all clothes and char stayed the same), entire body model disappeared, only head remained

3. Conclusion - i had to add some bits to the save, added dots instead of previous color letters (12bits vs. 16 bits before) and something went wrong. I think color and style of hair is somewhat connected

There are easier and harder parts to change. Going to try some after work.

My findings:

1. Character apperance block starts with "TPP" ends with "RŠbody"

RŠbody appears in male appearance, but not female.

I've been trying to just do something more broad stroke. Instead of trying to change things individually, just find a block of text I can rip out from one save and into another to change appearance wholesale. I've been comparing two identical saves where I strip both characters naked/unequip their weapons at the start of The Rescue mission. I got them as close as I could by setting all the appearance options to their lowest value (0/1/empty) although this may have been folly since it just leaves me with more empty segments.

I wouldn't mind changing my character's voice but in the short term I just need to fool the game long enough to get past the trigger that checks my characters bodytype/voice to get my love interest of choice.

It's kinda impossible to rip entire block of data from one save to another for one reason, the number of bits in block. It'll differ dramatically and game won't start. IMO it's easier to go for "one-by-one" changes - it's easier to control and check if changes made are working.

Sounds like changing body type is going to be a pretty big endeavor since the female bodytype has a bunch of extra data. My consolation prize would be just changing my voice, but since I'm on my second playthrough I'd rather not have the same romance options.

I so want to change the color of nails from black, which is the default, to normal nails, without varnish. But I can't do it. I created two new characters, exactly the same, with only one difference. The first with black, the second without varnish. In HxD, i found two lines with the word "nail", the first I managed to replace, but the color of the nails did not change. I went to the second line. I tried to find the same beginning and end, as you can see in the screenshots, here the beginning of both saves is with ".30", and the end is "A".

I was replacing this piece, but save didn't load. I thought it was because of the different number of characters (with black nails - 53, and with normal - 42), I started adding 00. I tried adding directly in the replaced part

Tried adding at the end at the beginning, where there are so many nulls

But the game always either didn't load or crashed when loading the save. I'm so tired. What am i doing wrong? :c
