Mod Request : disable HUD

Or a toggle HUD option in case certain elements are needed for interaction (e.g. hacking overlay)

 

Will check if disabling shaders with 3dmigoto works but for the meantime to the more experienced modders, something that will disable all HUD elements (besides those disabled in the game menu) would be awesome.

yeah i tried so much to deactivate the Healthbars and other icons ,but i cant figure it out ....someone got it?if you change it in the config files nothing happens or the game crashes..maybe we have to replace the textures with empty ones so the elements dont show up?

Health bars can be deactivated in the menu right ?

I hope the other elements are just shaders that can be disabled with 3dmigoto, like quest pop ups, quest and shop icons etc. Only thing is that disabling one might disable more and there are some elements that you might need to play, like the little radio screen and maybe the hacking menu (dont remember whether thats a totally separate screen or a pop up menu ingame). But 3dmigoto has the option to toggle shaders back on with a button so that may be a way. If I have time tomorrow I will check.

yeah. enemy health bars are so annoying. There must be some way to disable them.

Yes this mod but a toggle version. That would be so handy especially for OLED users who fear burn in from static mini-maps, health bars etc.

 

Because there is no need to have those things in view 100% of the time, it would be nice if there is a toggle key, toggle it on when you want to see that stuff and then toggle off when you don't.

I am also looking for a disable / toggle HUD mod for recording showcase purposes.

It is indeed possible to hide a lot of HUD elements, but not all like quest markers, and body details.

First the in Game Setting for Enemy Health Bars only applies to Boss Battles, not all enemies

 

Use the Start Up and/or Console -NoHUD to completely remove the HUD

 

Note: Console uses the Tilde Key on US keyboards, and If it's like Witcher 3 that will not be the Key on Non US.

I've not explored this yet, as I'm on a UK keyboard, and the startup method works.

Console is also invisible when active, This mod makes it visible, but again not tested it yet, as I have a method that works

No HUD, and Skip Start Screen

Obviously, you will have to add your own "Path To Game", instead of mine.

Skip Start Screen only skips the last press Space to start pause screen, not all the startup, logos, or the auto video playing, but it's one annoyance less.

 

You can add these commands it to a custom start shortcut, and if you want some Icons for different shortcuts see this Mega Link for my personal ones, and Deviant art has plenty more under the nane "AIcon".

The request was to disable HUD, this option does that right now, today.

If the console part works it's even togglable in game!

 

Mods like Friendly HUD would be great, but right now this fulfills the OPs basic request.
