Deleted2815227User
So, I started using Vortex, on a game previously managed by another manager; a combination of haven't played in a while (due to the manager crashing and screwing up the mods install, and feeling to down about it to reinstall everything again) / forgotten / filled up hardrive, thus move game to other drive using steam / and thus not using that manager to uninstall everything), I'm now modding with Vortex with this game, and although those remaining files don't run and so don't conflict with Vortex installed games, they are still a waste of space, a clutter in the data directory, and a clutter in the mods menu of the game itself, for it still seas all the mods. And I remember the previous Nexus mod manager by the same name having an option "Purge all unmanaged files/mods" or something like that, and although I see a "purge mods" in Vortex, that's only mods managed by Vortex. The question; is there a way to do that, (because if there is, I don't see it), and if not, I would like the see feature added.
Guest deleted34304850
if you still have your original mod manager - purge your mods using that before you use vortex.vortex, or any mod manager, for that matter, won't (or shouldn't) purge files that it doesn't own or know about. You can use Vortex to purge the mods it manages, you just can't use it to purge mods it didn't install/own/know about/care about.
