Laser weapons that act like a realistic-ish laser weapon would?

The depiction of laser weapons within the fallout series is not really the kind that I would prefer to play with, is there any mods out their that depict lasers more realisticly eg:

 

the beams travel at the speed of light

no recoil

rather than firing single shots, fires a continuous beam

little sound

fairly low damage (balanced by the continuous fire)

high power requirements

less visible, laser beams would be pretty hard to see unless there was dust in the way.
