druth
It would be nice to see the half-dragon template from 5e Monster Manual. Templates go over whatever base race you choose, though I assume you would have your avatar look like a dragonborn with a tail. I am not sure if this is possible until dragonborn models are implemented. This includes:1) Darkvision of 60ft.2) Blindsight 10 feet (No idea how this would be done)3) Resistance to Acid or Lightning or Fire or Poison or Cold (depending on dragon type)4) Draconic language (which is irrelevant in Baldur's Gate atm)5) Breath Weapon as a wyrmling forAcid or Lightning or Fire or Poison or Cold (depending on dragon type)(for medium size characters) this varies widely by dragon type. It may be easier just to give a flat spell type or copy an existing cantrip. As a side note:I am presently a player in a 5e game. The DM started a nonhuman campaign in Ravenloft and I originally got him to allow the half dragon template on top of an Aarakocra without the dragons breath. He still whined and complained about how he was allowing me to break the rules so I took a variant feral winged tiefling with the Fiendish Resistance feat (he was allowing a racial feat at 1st level) and reskinned it to be a half dragon. This gives a perfectly legal character with resistance to fire, cold, poison and advantage to poison saves AND wings. It was FAR more powerful than my original character with the half dragon template. And yet he was perfectly fine with it, and hasn't complained about it since. This boggled my mind. He was so focused on the rules that he completely didn't care about the power level. Not that he was that powerful in comparison with another character that was playing a Yuan-Ti (the super race of D&D). Anyway, there is another mod that says they will be implementing the book legal winged feral Tiefling. I totally want to apply a half dragon template onto it.
