N1Kqq Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Hey guys! First time posting here!Gotta say i really enjoy playing CB77 these past few days, i'm a car guy irl, i play a lot of racing sims.I was super hyped up when I saw the behind the scenes they made about car sounds, but the volume of the tires , engine, exhaust, feels really low, especially in first person view. I know it's not a racing sim game in the first place but i feel bad for the work they put into this and you can't even hear it properly. I tried tweaking some stuff in the options but it doesn't do anything :/ I hope there is somebody else out there who watched cdprojekt video about recording a Lexus LFA, driving the Rayfield Caliburn and not hearing a lot, again in third person it's meh but in first person you simply don't hear the car at all. Thanks guys ! Wish you a good Sunday !
WarChaplain Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Same issue here, all engine sounds are too low, can barely hear them even in 3rd person.
rawkus1977 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Completely agree, after seeing the vid about how they recorded the vehicle audio, I thought it would be great....it's actually terrible though(across the board). Tried hunting through files myself...to no avail, I hope someone can figure this out.
Soylencer Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 I will say, that I know this is a video game, and it's SciFi -- but most of these vehicles don't have regular engines. Even today, you can barely hear engine noise. My spouses 96' car is barely audible unless it's going up a hill.
rawkus1977 Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 I get what you are saying, a handful of vehicles have V8's in this though, and some of those have exhaust outlets near the drivers head, these are the ones I refer too as 'bad'.A personal preference too be sure. I wouldn't buy a Tesla, it's too quiet  small children should cry as I pass
