Question about zoom bug on some guns

There are some guns that have this bug when looking through the scope. Once you make the shot and exit zooming through the scope, the weapon remains in front of your face for a few seconds. Is this an animation bug or can I correct it through GECK or xedit?

 

Note: it only happens after taking a shot, just looking through the scope is no problem.

The game plays the entire FireIS (Ironsights) animation even if you stop aiming. There's a workaround for scoped weapons in my Tweaks engine plugin that forces scoped weapons to use hip fire anims when aiming (the recoil patterns also change so I included optional anim files to fix that).
