Skyrim CTD at midnight (ingame)

Hey there,

I was overwhelmed by the great possibilities all these mods on Nexus offer to make a great game even greater. I have installed and checked many many many mods during the last month, which really improved the Skyrim experience. But I am also experiencing heavy issues for 2 weeks now. They are so frustrating, that I even stopped playing for a week! (and it is holidays where I live now!).

It is the good old CTD problem. I encountered it at first during the Dawnguard questline inside the cave in forgotten vale, the one you have to walk through, sudden CTD after attacking one particular falmer. I solved this by using a savegame that was slightly older. Then, I encountered it again right after I left that particular cave and went a few steps away from the entrance (I did not check what time it was ingame at that point, but the CTD may have also been related to it). I solved this issue by teleporting me via command line to the target of the quest. Then, I had problems fast traveling, it appears to me, randomly. Usually I just did some other stuff and later I could fast travel to the town I wanted to go to.

About two hours ago I had problems fast traveling to Markarth and read in some forum that a user was helped by disabling several mods, that added content to the game (in his case, it was four additional houses). So I disabled "Elvenwood" and "Riverhelm" and boom - I could fast travel to Markarth. But just a few minutes later I tried to fast travel from markarth to Whiterun, Windhelm or Riften. None worked. During my research on CTDs I have often read about corrupted savegame files and therefore I just wanted to follow a guide to clean my safegame (I wanted to do this one: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Troubleshooting#tab=Mods_and_Savegames ). But then I realized, that everytime I reach midnight in game waiting or just standing around, the game crashed to desktop.

Still looks like quite a list - I have already disabled or removed many I would not miss to check if they were the problem...

 

Well, help would be very great :-/

 

PS: BTW, my savegames's size is ~13mb and I have played 95 hours by now, the character has just reached level 51.

I have figured it out: After disabling all the climates of tamriel stuff, it is all working again! Anyway, I am wondering why there are so many plugins concerning the climates...
