Mod Request: Model Swap

I'd specifically want to swap V's model with Sandayu Oda.

this should be easily done. the game has "special outfit" slot which allows an entire model to be applied over v's body. all you need to do is either replace an entry for one of those jumpsuits or netrunner suits that go in the slot with the model path for oda's uniform.

 

i used the cyber engine mod to play around and spawn some clothing items and there's actually a proper ncpd cop uniform not found in the game. it has a description and everything i'm assuming it's meant for a dlc or maybe cut content. but anyway it just goes to show how easy it should be to create new clothing items.

 

that "special outfit" slot was made for modding models/clothes i'm sure of it. i would really like to either model swap or create a new item for those kangtao heavy armors you see on those side missions or ncpd hustles where a kang tao mercenary is fumbling around near some buildings trying to hack their way in.it's a shame you can't just find those clothing items lying around. but i'm guessing since they're so intricate and interwoven with multiple armor layers, it'd be difficult to make them into separate pieces that don't clip when paired with other pieces of clothing.

 

again, that's the beauty of the special outfit slot, you can piece together a custom armor set and turn them into an item that replaces your standard outfit while keeping all the stats of the armor equipped underneath
