Skorzeny8814
Today I started the game again but this time as a mage (I've always been a warrior in Skyrim-like games) just to try out something new. I new that I couldn't block while using two weapons so I thought I couldn't do it with magic in one hand and weapon in the other. But this totally f*cks up the game. As a warrior I've almost never faced an enemy I couldn't beat somehow, but as a mage without the ability of blocking I died more than 20 times during the first 10 quest I faced (they were lik 'Kill the bandit leader at...' and so). It makes me very angry when I can't kill a few retarded bandits with long bows and iron swords because I can't block their attacks, just attack them with my sword and magic. I know I can heal myself but if I do it during combat there's not enough magic left to do attacks with it. Do you know about any mod that makes it possible to block while using magic and weapon at the same time? If not, can anyone make one?
datheidiot
Yep I agree. And that goes for duel wielding weapons. You don't loose the ability to block if your using an offhand weapon.
patcazzo
Dual Wield Parrying allows you to block with two weapons or one weapon in one hand and spell in the other hand. You just have to press an aditional key (V) for blocking instead of the right mouse button. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9247
