Vulon
I currently have the Set Body mod (here's a link for those who don't know what I'm talking about) installed in Oblivion, and having a similar option at the player's disposal for Skyrim would be ideal. I understand there are mods that enable the player to customize and differentiate NPC and player bodies, to an extent, but not like Set Body. Granted, Oblivion currently has more body types at the players disposal than Skyrim, as far as I know, but still. I have no idea how practical it would be, or if it's indeed even feasible whatsoever. I'm sure I'm not the first person to consider it. I have absolutely no knowledge of modding, so please excuse my ignorance on the subject if it's an impossible task. ShimoOkami
I'm not sure how it works in Oblivion, but in Skyrim the body mesh is determined by the race of the actor. So, in order to change the body type, you would have to create a separate race for each combination of race and body mesh. Also, vampires count as a separate race, so you'd need new races for them too. Then you would need to script a spell to change the target's race, although it shouldn't be any more difficult than something like a ring menu. In other words, it would be a bit of a pain, but it should be possible.
Vulon
Ah, I see. Yeah, I don't think Oblivion's body types are in any way race-dependent. That definitely sounds like it would be a hassle, but if it's possible, I guess I'll hold out in the hope that someday, someone might just make it a reality. :D
