Predatorsgod
I'm trying to get hair from Oblivion to work in Fallout 3. I mean all of it - Problem is, I'm stuck on the first one I'm trying to get. My problem is that in game, the hair isn't fitting on the head correctly. It's off of it, and my head is clipping through the hair. So I opened up 3ds max and fixed the position of the hair, but now I can't get it to work in the game. I'm curious of there's a way to change the position in Nifskope, so I don't have to deal with every little thing having to be re-created. Anyone know how to fix this? deliverance6
Right click you're mesh in Nifskope and Choose "Transform" and then "Edit". this brings up an "AXIS" settings window. use that to alter position. make sure to export from 3ds max using the "Fallout 3 Nif settings tho. since the default is Oblivion lol im forever clicking ands not noticing
Baelkin
Additionally, using the "scale vertices" option in NifSkope will allow you to stretch or contract the mesh along the X, Y or Z axis. It's pretty useful if you realise that your mesh fits nicely along one axis when aligned but it needs a bit of stretching and you don't want to edit it in your 3d editor. ;)
