lazloarcadia
Tell me about it. I know a lot of folks love the ingame music score, but honestly for myself I'd love to see actually different stations with actually different genre's of music. Barring that the ability to set up my own play list. Ideally, my own play list which can be saved to mulitple radio stations = more than one genre of music stations. SoltyBadger
the lack of the protomen, motorhead, sabaton or Perturbator is dissapointing and i agree with either a custom radio station or station replacement mod Edited December 21, 2020 by tenma22
Brandoman
The day official modding tools/unpacker-repackers are a thing, I'll be jumping on that real quick. I've unpacked the sound archive files but once I did that, there were MORE ARCHIVE FILES. They were .bin format, and no powerISO or similar software could open them. Can't wait for the tools to come out because I want to do what I did for Fallout 4. Voiced DJ's and all. I already have a massive 24/7 Cyberpunk music stream going on here: https://www.twitch.tv/oldworldradio Most of the artists in this 24/7 stream will be featured in a future mod (if it will be possible) Here's hoping! dominojachas
Yes please!Tracks selected for the original radio stations are the weakest point of this game imo. I love Techno but 3(or 2?) radio stations with sleepy very slow techno? For real? All music beside maybe 4-5 tracks lacks energy and especially electronic music sounds outdated for many years already. Not to mention differences in volume between tracks (either bug or nobody paid attention to do that) and weak randomization: I hear about 3 same tracks in every radio station most of the time. Will this help you?? And also tell me what software did you use to extract sound files?? Just in case anyone is confused extracting the game's soundbanks; Use Bulk Rename Utility to change the extensions from *.bin to *.wem.Install Foobar2000 and use foo_input_vgmstream in order to play or transcode the files. All the game's audio samples and the radio station music is in there; several thousand files. If you're just looking for the game's music it'll help to order it all by duration and delete shorter samples through the file operations 'Delete' right-click in Foobar - and vice versa if you're hunting something shorter. You can probably use the filenames to casually replace the radio music with your own stuff if you really want. Though you'll need to convert it to *.WEM first, change the extension to *.bin and put it in-place of another track.
