dc2008242
I suspect though, that SE has a larger player-base at this point...... Don't have any stats on that though. It looks to be true.Steamdb seems to show more concurrent steam players on SSE than on Oldrim. The rough stats for that areSSE:1yr min/max: ~14.9k/~31.1k3month min/max ~16.5k/~24.7k Oldrim:1yr min/max: ~7.5k/~16.8k3month min/max: ~7.3k/~10.6k 3 years ago they appear to be closer to each other in numbers Keep in mind, these are rough numbers (I kinda eyeballed the tallest and lowest) and just represent steam players, it's better to just look at the graph for yourself. You can see the stats I used here: Oldrim SSEThese stats seem to suggest roughly 50% more concurrent steam players on SSE within the past year (although this is definitely not a rigorous statistical analysis).Looking at "New Mods this Week" (wish I could do a time period bigger than a week) for oldrim and SSE nexus shows 70 mods for oldrim and 181 mods for SSE (as of the time of this message). It's also worth noting that Oldrim is hidden from search (unlisted) on steam store which means that if anyone were to buy skyrim on Steam, it would most likely be Special Edition. While it could certainly be analyzed more in depth, I would feel pretty confident in saying that SSE currently has a larger player-base and the popularity gap between the two games seems to be growing at least slightly.I would not be surprised if there are double the amount of players on SSE these days. Moksha8088
The Stable Edition has much to recommend itself over the Limited Edition.
