Multiple Installs Of Skyrim

Are you doing this so you can have 2 people able to play different mods? If you are, make a copy of the Local settings Skyrim directory that contains plugins.txt. usualy C:\Users\namehere\Local Settings\Skyrim\ With "namehere" as whatever it is on your install. Now make a copy of the Steam Skyrim directory. Rename both the original and the copy to an easy to change name. Such as SkyrimA and SkyrimB. both users are assigned a different number lets say you have A. When you go to play you rename both of your directories to remove the A making it the default Skyrim directory. When you are done you rename them both again and add the A back. the other person does the same for their B version.

Takes like 3 seconds to rename 2 directories and be able to start the game with only those mods, thats what i do for a clean no mod Skyrim and my moded version.

Also only use new saves to start playing and the last thing to do before quiting keeping auto saves for just incase you CTD unless you want to do the same for the my docs skyrim directory..
