Galandil
Looking good! These screenshot show a grittier take on Solitude :)Hope your going to use these wall resources for the entire thing, the old Solitude walls and the new ones you've used at the gates kind of clash. Well done! :)
TWarrior
do you think they clash? i think they work kind of good together..woah wait, i had an idea. i can change the textures in the ck! with the ressource download of the mod there were no custom textures, so the new walls use vanilla textures. that means i can just change either the new walls' textures or the old ones' ! TWarrior
hey guys.what do you think makes a city feel lived in and realistic?so far i have added laundry and outhouses. what little details am i missing?what do you want to see added? http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/images/110/1853669-1413313965.jpghttp://static-1.nexusmods.com/15/images/110/1853669-1413314086.jpg
DemongelRex
Layers; if a city is flat, it seems dead. I like the way Real Cities Solitude kinda did it, though with interiors and NPC's with AI packages.
TWarrior
the problem is that i do not want to add dummy buildings that serve only the purpose of making the city seem larger..
DemongelRex
Yea, do NOT make dummy buildings, give the buildings some interiors. I feel as if the whole top layer should be accessible.
najanaja73
As the best Capital city, it should have more of everything than the others. Whiterun for now is the best with 2 forges, a smelter and the others easily accessible. Solitude doesn't. Well it should have alchemy and enchant tables and smelters and forges all over the place. Also add a shop that has every single item in the game, except at higher prices. That means all ingots are available just more expensive. Make it an very expensive but has everything shop.
