Nimbus21
I have a slight problem with Harkon at the end of Kindred Judgment, the boss fight. Instead of teleporting around the room like he should he just disperses into bats and disappear when I deal damage to him, he then stays away untill his health regens and then he reappears. I've tried to following him into the floor where he appears to go, but he's not there, or anywhere that I can see. The only way I can kill him is to use god items to pretty much oneshot him, but even then there is a problem, he don't leave an ash pile behind for me to loot, instad he just ppfs away leaving me standing there like a idiot. Vulon
Reminds me of the sheer bugginess I encountered during the final battle in Dragonborn. I was only able to successfully 'finish' the fight by opening up the console and setting the stage of quest progression ahead. Nothing else worked correctly. I'd recommend trying that to see if it does the trick. Hopefully it'll work just the same way it did for me when I was fighting Miraak, and you'll be able to loot his remains successfully. Also, here's a link to the UESP page for Kindred Judgment. Looks like you'd need to set the quest stage to 200, I'm assuming. It also lists various bugs during the fight with Harkon and possible work-arounds, including him turning invisible when his health reaches zero, which sounds like what you're describing. Nimbus21
He's not unkillable, I just have to cheat to do it, none of the bugs listed on that site resembles what's hppening to me. I've trid the encounter a few more times sense I first posted, and I noted that he always reappears in the exaxt same spot he is in when you enter the room he is in, the only time he reappears anywhere else is when he appears over the alter in his little invurnereble phase, beyond that he never moves to any other location in the room. Vulon
Does setting the quest progression ahead with the console not 'finish' the quest properly, either? What you're describing sounds a lot like what happened to me when I was fighting Miraak on the Dragonborn DLC.
Nimbus21
The quest is finished once I manage to kill him, it's no problem there. My complaint is that Harkon ain't behaving as he should, i can't beat him using ordenary ingame weapons and spells, I have to use moded weapons that do silly damage to do enough damage that he on't regen it all before he reappears. Once I knock all his health down he freezes for a moment then vanishes. The it takes about ten econds and the quest reads as finished, but there is no ashpile left behind.
