apr006
I've had a bunch of mods for awhile now that i love, but i've always wanted to try out skyre and deadly dragons (which require skse) thing is, i don't want to restart another game and loose my other two since skse and skyre will be installed.Based on you guy's opinions...is skyre really worth a game restart? scrivener07
Umm, just install it and try it out yourself. If you dont like it, uninstall it.
apr006
Yeah but that would mean loosing 80hours or so of game time i already got since it clearly says you gotta staetrt a new game for it
Sardonnicus
never play without it. Install it, and find a game save file that is close to where you are now.
scrivener07
Exactly, install skyre and start a new game. Your old saves will be fine if you decide skyre isnt for you. But if you want someone to tell you what to do then yes. Start a new game with skyre.
apr006
So as long as i dont touch my old saves, they'll be fine if i decide to uninstall skyre and skse? And if i dont like em, will i have to reinstall skyrim since skse changes some files? Ps: sorry for all the questions, still new to pc gaming and modding so i just wanna sure to get everything done right Edited March 15, 2013 by apr006
scrivener07
"So as long as i dont touch my old saves, they'll be fine if i decide to uninstall skyre and skse?"Yes, but seriously just leave skse installed. No, skse doesnt overwrite any files. "And if i dont like em, will i have to reinstall skyrim since skse changes some files?"No, and you should never ever need to fully reinstall skyrim no matter how much you butcher the files. Use steam revalidation.

ArtMurder
Or you could use this tool and try out a whole new L/O and new characters. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19034
scrivener07
SIS is good tool but by the questions op is asking it might be a little over his head until he gets a better grasp of how to mod his game before managing multiple installs.
