extra polygons after modifying a nif

I'm sure you guys get plenty of noob questions like this but here goes...

 

I was trying learn how to do stuff by modifing exisiting stuff first, so i tried to alter the female character model and ended up with this :

everything seems fine except the random few triangles growing out of her back, and the big one gowing out of her rear.

I spent a bunch of time trying to figure out what produces this effect, and only managed to make it worse.

 

so for future reference what can produce an error like this? (and can it be fixed without redoing it....)

 

the polygons dont show up in nifskope or blender but do in the game and in the geck.

what program are you modifying it with?

 

if its 3dsMax9 then chances are it'll be the bones randomly dis-associating themselves from the linked mesh. because y'no, that happens all the frigging time lol

 

 

 

if its blender, no idea but looks like a bone rigging problem either way
