LordNighthawk4 Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 ah, you got it, that was right and i just corrected it. now it works half way correct ingame. only "halfproblem" is that the hand still grabs a bit clippy into the foregrip. if i resize to get it fit it does not look anymore like the original f2 bozar....so i will actually keep it as it is. here are some small ingame pics:
LordNighthawk4 Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 well, as long as i´m learning like everybody else i have a question if it somehow is possible to adjust the weapon position for the 1st person view. if it use it like the sniper rifle the big bozar really looks...dull? wanted to re-adjust it a bit if possible :-/
LordNighthawk4 Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 i dropped the idea to do it with the sniper anims. as long as it looked completly dumb nothing fittet and somehow this big gun looked over-unrealistic in every position. i regrab another idea where the bozar is "hung" up in a cage with ammo supply and the minigun-animations. i gave it a try and here is a small mix screenie, some suggestions or opinions would be nice :E
GreyViper Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 The last pics look the best, maybe just remove the ammo box from back, since while reloading the ammo goes beneath the gun anyway.
Skree000 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 The nifnodes with no Nitristripsdata are your bone nodes that dictate where the hands will grab the weapon. However, Its my understanding that the animations are set in stone and only 2 people have changed them so far... I'll be doing alot of experimenting with this very soon since most of my 2142 weapons have crazy locations for the clips and will need special care.
Zilod Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 yep agree this "big gun version" looks the best :) for the scope maybe you can turn it in a sort of laser pointer as it makes not much sense to have a scope in such big weapon whitout any support
