whodatb
Hello, I'm new to modding skyrim se and I've run into a rather bothering issue. The following black, shadowy lines appear on almost every character and around many objest:https://imgur.com/Mgx7RDzhttps://imgur.com/zokMSBwhttps://imgur.com/OUe0J2Jhttps://imgur.com/h4Xdqbmhttps://imgur.com/zDqmrNghttps://imgur.com/lw82VPuhttps://imgur.com/6UkeF6vThey also only appear if I'm close to the object or the character, otherwise they are not visible.I've downloaded the following mods that effect shadows and lighting: Enhanced Lights and FX by anamorfusObsidian Weathers and Seasons by JonnyWang13Lanterns Of Skyrim II by wizkid34EmbersXD by mindfIuxI used Nexus Mod Manager to install them. After installing these mods I ran the game and noticed the same lines, so thinking that the mods are the problem I uninstalled and deleted them, then ran the game again and the lines remained. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game itself, time and time again but the lines are still there and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I tried following tutorials that supposedly help solving similar issues, I tried to reset the game to vanilla or do a clean reinstall but nothing seems to work.In SkyrimPrefs.ini my Display settings are the following: fShadowDistance=8000.0000iNumFocusShadow=4fInteriorShadowDistance=3000.0000ffocusShadowMapDoubleEveryXUnit=450.0000iShadowMapResolution=2048fDynamicDOFBlurMultiplier=0.8000fProjectedUVNormalDetailTilingScale=0.8000fProjectedUVDiffuseNormalTilingScale=0.2000bEnableProjecteUVDiffuseNormals=1bUseTAA=1bIndEnable=0bSAO_CS_Enable=0bToggleSparkles=1bSAOEnable=1bScreenSpaceReflectionEnabled=1bIBLFEnable=1bUse64bitsHDRRenderTarget=0iSaveGameScreenShotHeighWSt=192iSaveGameScreenShotWidthWS=320iSaveGameScreenShotHeight=192iSaveGameScreenShotWidth=256iShadowMaskQuarter=4bVolumetricLightingEnable=1iVolumetricLightingQuality=1bEnableImprovedSnow=1fLightLODStartFade=3500.0000bFXAAEnabled=0fLeafAnimDampenDistEnd=4600.0000fLeafAnimDampenDistStart=3600.0000fTreesMidLODSwitchDist=9999999.0000fMeshLODFadePercentDefault=1.2000fMeshLODFadeBoundDefault=256.0000fMeshLODLevel2FadeTreeDistance=2048.0000fMeshLODLevel1FadeTreeDistance=2844.0000fMeshLODLevel2FadeDist=9999999.0000fMeshLODLevel1FadeDist=9999999.0000fGamma=1.0000bBorderless=0bFull Screen=0iSize H=1080iSize W=1920iScreenShotIndex=0bTreesReceiveShadows=1bUsePrecipitationOcclusion=1bDrawLandShadows=0iMaxSkinDecalsPerFrame=25iMaxDecalsPerFrame=100 Any help would be greatly appreciated! anjenthedog
Looks like a lighting issue. I have the (afaik now obsolete) mod "Quick spotlight", which produces a fixed location light source (a bit like mage light although not time dependent). When I power it up while another mod "Quick Light" (fixed to player center) is active, I get that same Moiré-pattern effect (interference pattern... ie "stripes") If you have one, or more than one, I'd checking your lighting mod(s)
whodatb
I currently have no mods installed in the game, but the stripes are still present. Even if I install any lighting mods, the stripes are still there. I tried out "Quick Light", but it doesn't make the lines disappear either.
