Them pesky lil' rocks!

Just so it's out of the way...This should be a breeze for someone that knows their way around nifskope; gave a shot at it myself, and all I got was a CTD whenever I went to an exterior cell.

Anyway!

There are these small blue rocks scattered everywhere in Skyrim. I'm not talking about those boulders which have been scaled down; there are a bazillion clumps of small rocks that are scattered across damn near every ground texture in the game. In the CK, they're listed as a grass.

However, removing them from the texture form does nothing. The rocks still appear; as if nothing had been changed.

Seeing as how there are just loads of these EVERYWHERE, and they are not even noticeable unless you're looking straight at the ground to find them, it would be great if someone who knew how to work nifskope deleted the vertices in the .nif files. Due to the shoddy implementation of occlusion culling, with the rocks removed, there would be a major increase in performance.

The .nif files can be found in the "Skyrim - Meshes.bsa" file, in the "meshes\landscape\grass" folder.

The .nif files that I'd like to be edited are:

"rockgrass01.nif"

"rockgrasssnowobj01.nif"

"rockgrasswater01.nif"

So yeah. If someone could do that, that'd be fantastic. Would help keep the framerate up when playing above 640x480.

Thanks in advance.
