huge fps drops when casting flames

hi all and christmas greetings even if late! As per the title i'm having ad annoying issue when casting flames spell (i don't know for others fire spells, but i'm sure that the problem happens only with fire and not ice or electricity spells). The frame rate drops from costant 55-60 fps up to 35-ish, wherever i am. i hope someone can help me.

EDIT: i forgot to mention another problem, just aestethic. when using torches or fire spell (non casting, only the fire in the hands) appears a kind of squared grey-ish flickering texture around torches and hands with fire orbs inside indeed. This happens only for me (equipped spells and torches), all others ones are ok.

i think there is a confilct between nat, ELFX and smoking torches and candles mods.

Maybe try disabling both smoking torches AND embers in your plugin LO in Vortex, then load up your save and see what happens. If something changes, re-enable one of them and repeat.

 

Looked at smoking torches, and the comments section there says that it should be loaded AFTER embers. Go check for yourself, to make sure I didn't miss something. You may need to make a manual overwrite on Vortex plugin page.
