aquariuz23 Posted December 29, 2020 Share Posted December 29, 2020 Hello all, this is my first time ever making a mod request here in Nexusmods so my apologies upfront if I'm doing this all wrong or whatnot. Please guide me if I did something incorrectly. One thing I really love to do in Cyberpunk is to drive around the city and take in the sights. It also gives me a chance to get to know the lay of the land. However, whenever I need to get to a destination and rely on the GPS, it is really annoying to have to constantly dart my vision up to the minimap to see where I need to go. I've constantly missed turns or exits because I'm distracted by something around me, or have just slammed into things because I was looking at the minimap. Honestly, for a game that's taking place in the future, the implementation of the GPS technology is really poor. Why isn't there a HUD in front of the car directing me where to go, or just simply the classic dotted lines or arrows on the street in front of you guiding you. Heck, just put those lines from the minimap on the actual world! It would really be awesome if this can be done. We can then all drive in piece without having to stare at a stupid minimap. I have a feeling that this is something that CDPR needs to add into the game, but it'll be cool if there could be some kind of temporary workaround. Thanks! aquariuz23 Posted January 3, 2021 Author Share Posted January 3, 2021 Just watched a youtube clip of the Claire race, and yeah, that GPS implementation is definitely light years better than the bullshit minimap GPS.
