ThyHarrowing Posted March 19, 2013 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Greetings, You may or may not be aware that there is a sweet .ini edit (detailed here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25162) that allows multiple weapons to be visible on the PC. While this is truly a wonderful edit there is one pitfall; a visual bug occurs when swapping to a different weapon without first sheathing the previously equipped weapon. Unforunately, this bug applies to NPCs as well. It isn't really an issue for the PC as sheathing can be done choosedly, however NPCs do not sheath their weapon before switching to another. This often results in NPCs like bandit archers switching from their bow/crossbow to their dagger for melee combat, but the bow/crossbow visually glitches over the dagger and it looks like they are swinging their bow/crossbow at you. I think this bug could be fixed with a simple mod that adds a script forcing NPCs to sheath their weapons before switching to another. As a novice to the CK I was wondering if someone could offer me any guidance on how I might go about doing that. Does such a script exist already? (I am thinking it does since there are certain instances where both the player and NPC's are forced to sheath their weapon before interacting with particular objects or doing particular actions). Would it be possible to utilize that script in the manner I have indicated? Do you know how I can do so within the CK? Any advice, thoughts, or such would be much appreciated. Thanks.
