RagingPsycho Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Hello, For some reason after downloading skyrim patch 1.9, my xbox controller stopped responding to the game. When plugged in, the controller registers in the game and the cursors change from mouse/keyboard to controller style, but non of the buttons work including the dpad and joysticks. This suddenly happened out of nowhere literally from playing the game with 1.8 a couple hours before to now not working. I tested the controller on other games and it works fine. I also updated all of my current mods and the game runs perfect except for the controller problem. Anyone else experiencing this or have a fix? Any info would be appreciated.

Korodic Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Seems fine to me. Was play testing my mod not too long ago... What controller do you use? (Afterglow, Micro$0ft, etc.)
RagingPsycho Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 It literally is an xbox 360 wired controller by microsoft. Idk whats up with it. Working fine for 1 sec and then suddenly bam. I have a bunch of mods installed, but I have no idea which one would be conflicting with enabling the controller to work. Anyone who may have an idea of what kinds of mods would conflict with this would be awesome.
Korodic Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Could be any mods influenced by key bindings? But with my mod test setup I dont even have SKUI installed. So some mod has to be messing you up.
RagingPsycho Posted March 21, 2013 Author Posted March 21, 2013 yea I found the problem. Turns out the newest version of the Hialgo Boost breaks a controller. I guess I will have to wait till a new xbox 360 controller support version is released.
