Please help me figure out my Crash

I need help. I keep crashing in the Soul Cairn on my way to Serana's mother. Can't walk past the the arch in the road right after you pass Arvak's owner.

I really hope someone can help as this is driving me insane!

The Soul Cairn is infamous for crashes. If you try a google search, you'll find lots of posts on the issue.

 

If I remember right, one advice often given is to disable/uninstall everything that makes changes to dragon bone armor. Seems to work for many people - as strange as it may sound.

 

There's also a crash fix mod for "oldrim":

Unfortunately, it never got ported to SE. But you can easily do that yourself:

- Download the file manually

- Install it "from file" with the mod manager of your choice

- Open the plugin in the SE Construction Kit and save it without changing anything. That should update it to the SE plugin format.

I know I'm super late, but the cause is Morgaine. She has something messy in the Cairn that causes the crash.
