HouseOfTides
So I've just started an ultimate edition playthrough, got a bunch of mods running, basically the same as I had last time I did this with some more modules like Dirge of Coldhearth for when I fancy a bit of a challenging time. The issue is, everyone in my origin (human noble) calls me 'daughter' or 'sister' despite the fact I'm a man. I do have a mod for the intro installed but I've deleted it and tried again and everyone still thinks I'm a woman despite the fact I'm a male character, so I have no idea what's going on at all. theskymoves
Standalone modules such as Dirge of Coldhearth should not be installed when playing the main campaign, as they can (and usually will) create issues with the chargen process. Your best remedy is to uninstall any community created standalone campaigns, and start a new DAO game, since data regarding player character gender and the like are 'baked into' the save game files. An alternative to starting a new save would be to use the MetaGame Items cheat mod to attempt a correction of the incorrect gender plot flag, but it sounds like you aren't very far into the game, so I really do advise scrapping the flawed save and starting over.
