I don't really know what your asking, but most clothing mods; the clothes don't automatically appear in your characters inventory. The clothing mods will have a read me file that will tell you the location of the clothes.

You need to make the clothes yourself (using the meshes you want) is the CS and then add them to your NPC. Oblivion can't handle mods being dependant on eps files.

there're many ways to do so, but the easiest is this one(IMO):

Download and install TES4Gecko(you need Java for it to work!). When starting Gecko, set the directory 1st(I think the lower right option). After that use the function "Merge Plugins". You will see all your mods, search for the clothing mod you want your npc to wear and type "1" left of it. Then search for your NPC plugin and type "2" next to it. Now merge the 2 plugins.

-> this way, the items and your Npc are in one and the same pluggy, this should get rid of the CTDs.

Next thing will be to start the CS(or optional: TES4Edit). Load your NPC plugin as active plugin and set the equiped items for your NPC. Finished^^(I hope at least@_@)

Note that you won't need the cloth plugin now, so you can deactivate it if you want.

I had this same problem with the cm partners :-) try deactivating cm partners and and other mod related to cm partners then play the game make a new save game without the cm partners, and then turn it off, reactivate the cm partners again and see if that fixes it.
