lycophidion
I'd appreciate any feedback on this weird and annoying glitch... Whenever any NPC draws and fires arrows, the audio goes into slow motion. Is anyone aware of this problem? Are there any fixes for it? Thanks,Mike

lycophidion
Hmmm... No os upgrades, and it's an xp. Its decent, good video card, good in terms of ram, etc. (can't be more specific, it's not in front of me...). No problems with other graphic-intensive games, statistical and imaging software, gis programs, etc. Thanks! have you upgraded your drivers? dezdimona
have you tried adjusting anything in the options menu...this is a little out of my field as I'm a modder not a pc expert.
lycophidion
Hi, No, not really. This has been happening since I first installed the game. I requested assistance from Bethesda a few days ago, so let's see what they say... I'm neither a pc expert nor a modder...so I'm really lost! Thanks for your time and interest! Cheers! have you tried adjusting anything in the options menu...this is a little out of my field as I'm a modder not a pc expert.
bben46
My guess based on not much more than a hunch. You have on board audio and less than 2G Ram. The onboard audio steals ram from the system. Try disabling the audio (for troubleshooting) and see if it helps. If tweaking might help, check this site - IMHO its the best out there. http://www.tweakguides.com/Contact.html Run through the system tweaks first, then the section on your video card and finally the guide on Oblivion.
