jet4571
Go to the MovableStatic section and find the FXAmbBeam**** particle effects, those are light beams with differant particles in them. there are quite a few of them so find the one that works best for you. Place one on top of your item and rotate it where it is pointing straight down on it, duplicate it and rotate it again like you would a mead or tankard. repeat a few times until you get the desired effect but not so many times where it will cause lag. *Edit, if you want to use them in exteriors, they will never look right realy because of the sun position and the length of the beam, yeah you can stack them and use half for the ones above and repeat using half again until you get to just one but thats allot of particle affects and will cause lag from the CPU. best to use this kind of effect indoors where you can make a hole in the ceiling for the light to shine down from. theres a cave that uses this technigue but rather genericly. I place them into the mod but they just won't work, but if I go to a vanilla dungeon, copy the light beams from there and then paste them into my mod they work perfectly :/Any idea on this? Am I not using a correct setting or something? It's driving me crazy :(
