Alexanderedge Posted March 22, 2013 Share Posted March 22, 2013 (edited) SOLVED scroll down for the solution Hello Internet and Nexus,I bet that I ain't the first one with this problem and I guess i just did a lot of things wrong during the instalation, but... i googled my problem in various forms and i found nothing. So I'll ask you, cause you seem to answear everything right.So here is the story: I spend 2 days to install my german version of the Fo3 GOTY edition with all addons and some bigger and smaller mods, untill it finally were "able" to "start". The point was I just downloaded the Mods and copy&pasted them into the data folder like i just did in new vegas. I started a new game and took the alternative start option from the FOWE mod. so far so good... I did the computer thing for the skills etc. and chose to be the vault dweeler. I came out outside the vault checkt my inventory. Put on the armor and put out the 32. revolver and i tried out the RH ironsight mod.... well it was corrupted. okay... so i was on my way to megatron and just saw all the issues... so i quit the game and tried my luck on the next day.NOW THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PARTI deinstaled everything. Installed the main game + the addons. Took the FOSE and put it in the main FO3 folder, like its supoused to be. Installed the mod manager and installed the mods with it and put them to THAT time in the wrong line-up. well but it seemed to "work" and i taught all the bugs are issues between the mods. well i played a little bit. walked around. Fixed some of those bugs as far as i could and played along. Here is the list of the Mods i use right now:- Wanderers Ediotion + Calibr and CraftWith support for the DLCsFollowers Enhanced( that i give a f*** about, cus i dont use it )Optional restore tracers- Martins Mutant ModSupport for all DLCsMaster menu modulNatural selectiontougher traderszones respawn- RH Ironsightsall Basic DLC .esp'sPL_removereticule ( dont know what this is ^^ )A Bridge for wanderers editionAND A bridge for WMK- WMKSupport for the DLCs( I see right now that i dont have a patch for other mods in that )- Dree Perks for the Main GamePerks for the addons- Max Level 100 modA script that allows to set skill points over 100 just to get out of the menu if i reach that.- Of course the FOSE- The merged patch from the Fo3Edit at least in the raw Well the point is I played along and played through the Point lookout DLC and now I'm back in the main game. I thought it would be cool to look after Mothership Zeta. I found it. They got me in the blue thing and took my up. Than every time the game loads the addon, the game crashes. Same happens at Anchorage, thats why Im posting this to long Post. I managed to merge out every single bug and issue i had on this fine day. The mods now like each other and everything exept one is fine. I cant get to the addons.If you Gentlemen need my line-up in NMM i could make a picture. But i think you already know what i did wrong.So what can i do? Edit: "Last step is to run Master Update. To do this, we need to rename your FO3Edit. Not the shortcut, the .exe itself. Rename it to FO3MasterUpdate. FO3Edit, being a clever little program, will recognise its new role in modding society, and should load a little differently. If it's actually running in the right mode, it's name at the top should be changed to FO3MasterUpdate. Suprise suprise.Once again, on loading MasterUpdate there should be some whirring and purring, and eventually the box will say '--= All Done =--'. If it doesn't, you're probably running in the wrong mode. Once thats done, close MasterUpdate to save the changes, and launch FOSE (providing you have it, which you should, otherwise normal FO3). Valmorrowind Posted March 22, 2013 Share Posted March 22, 2013 (edited) I don't think the ESMization would change anything. Try to disable Max Level 100. I don't know what Max Level does, but what can you do with a 100 level anyway? You should try Simple realism, it decreases the XP you earn, thus making your leveling slower. The point is i stopped playing fallout 3 some months ago becaus i reached lvl 20 and was disapointed. I got myself new vegas with the addons and the lvl 50 cap. Now i got myself Fo3 with all addons and a level cap of 30 and the level mod is just a prevention. maybe i end the game level 27... maybe with 88... it dosen't matter. First thing was i had an Mod weapon equipted, so i put it in my inventory and tried to get in the pod. Well the game crashed, but the next thing i did was to put my full inventory into a box. So first the guns, it went well and then the armor section. Went well too but then i got to the food etc. section and i workt my way down until i clickt on something called "Live liguana" or something like that. The game crashed than and i just remember that i pickt up a "frozen liguana" at the beginning of the game and the game always chrashed when i tried to move it in a box or trade it. So i just had that one simple tought that solved the problem. I started the game... f***ed that s*** out of my inventory and took a ride in the land of dreams and war.In anchorage you "lose" your inventory i think and same happens at zeta i guess... and it only crashed because of that freaking liguana. I think it comes from Marts mutant mod or the wanderers edition. Hope it helps some guys in the future. Now its time to play for me.Thanks to Valmorrowind and all of you that read my too long post.
