Skyrim LE CTD & freezes

I'm having random CTD's a lot lately and the game freezes when I get to around Whiterun. Sometimes the game freezes on black screen when entering a building. Have merged patch (cleaned mods) and bashed patch enabled. No idea where to even start, please help?
